The National Recreation and Park Association offers the industry-leading certification program in playground safety, the Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certification program. The CPSI certification program provides the most comprehensive and up-to-date training on playground safety issues including hazard identification, equipment specifications, surfacing requirements and risk management methods.
CPSI certification is valid for 3 years
Course begins at 8am and ends at 5pm on both days (instruction days)
Exam day (3rd day) check-in for the exam will start at 8am: Two hours will be given for the exam per NRPA guidelines
The course has been pre-approved for 1.5 CEU's
Candidates sitting for the CPSI must be 18 or older by exam day
Course requires pre-reading materials prior to attendance
CPSI Candidate Handbook (Paper and Pencil Testing)
You must register for the course by end of day FEB 10th
